I was born and raised in Morganton, NC. I have since lived at the coast where I graduated from UNC Wilmington with a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching in Wilmington and Charlotte NC for several years, I decided to return to my roots and teach in the community that helped shape me into the person I am today. Following a mission trip to Guatemala, my focus in the education field changed from a classroom teacher to an ESL teacher. Serving the Guatemalan community became my passion. When my son Leo was born with cleft lip and palate I chose to stay home with him through his cleft journey, this is when I decided to begin my real estate career. I hope to be able to serve many of the families I connected with throughout my teaching career, while making new, meaningful connections in my hometown that I love so much.
